Do this Wooden platform is capable of drops of Iron Plates?

Yes, this Pro Deadlift Platform is capable of Iron Plates unless you are not using them for overhead dropping. Do Not drop the Iron weight plates from Overhead height since the dropping of Iron plates is only limited to knee height.

Is a Basic deadlift Platform being capable of Overhead drops?

No, we won’t recommend it for Overhead drops. Because it is intended to withstand knee height drops.

Rather you can go with Pro Deadlift Platform, or if you want a budgetary solution, you can consider our Drop Bang Crash Pads with Wooden Deck adding to it.

I perform both weightlifting as well as powerlifting. Which wooden platform should I go with? OR I am a commercial gym owner & looking for a budgetary & functional Platform for my gym that can last a time – Suggest me one of these?

Choice: Pro Deadlift Platform is a Standard choice for all lifting purposes, while the NVR platform is a premium choice designed with a customised material combination.

Sound Reducing & Vibration Dampening: In this case, the NVR platform wins over Pro Platform;

Assuming that weights are being dropped on Rubber-foam-foam (NVR) &, on the other hand, being dropped on rubber-wood-wood (Pro), which one would produce more sound & vibration? It’s that Obvious foam is more capable of absorbing over the wood surface. Hence, NVR has a more tremendous shock, noise & vibrations dampening ability.

Lifting Area: The Pro Platform has 8’x4′ where else NVR has an 8’x6′ lifting area. The NVR Platform has more space to comfortably do split jerks.

I live in a flat where I had set up my home gym, but the problem is I am unable to perform Olympic lifts or lifts incurred with overhead drops since my neighbours complain about the disruptive sound & vibrations with it - Is there any solution you guys can provide?

To get rid of this problem, you must have Rubber Bumper Plates and a soundproofing Platform with you.
