For Squats: The bend reduces direct strain on the bicep tendon and allows increased back rigidity while squatting and proper joint centration via scapular retraction is incredibly important for strength and injury prevention. Also, an improved ability to generate core stability due to the reduced mobility demands of the shoulders allows you to avoid excessive spinal extension and maintain neutrality in a back squat rack position.

For Bench Press: You get a neutral grip while bench pressing eliminating stress on shoulder and wrist joints while gaining an increased training effect from the additional range of motion. These improvements lead to correct pressing patterns.

Superior Strength & Finish: The Buffalo Barbell is 8ft long having a shaft diameter of 32mm and a loadable sleeve length of 425mm with a maximum loading capacity of 1800lbs. The Shaft and Sleeves have a proprietary hard chrome coating.

Knurling and Markings: It has a fully knurled shaft with a 1.5mm diamond knurl. The distance between two standard knurl markings is 800mm sleeve to sleeve, and 400mm from the centre knurl, securing you a comfortable holding and resting position. 

High Quality Bushings: The Buffalo Bar / Duffalo Bar has proprietary bronze bushings to give an adequate, reliable, safe minimal sleeve spin that is required.
